About me
Hello, my name is Arwa Momin, and I am a senior Girl Scout in eleventh grade working on my gold award project. A gold award project is the highest award a girl scout can obtain, and for my project, I am choosing to focus on the topic of mental health for adolescents.
Goal
What is the goal of this website?
My gold award's goal is to assist adolescents with their mental health journey from the comfort of their own homes by helping them understand their emotions and feelings. This is important as mental health services can be inaccessible for those who do not have the time or money for them.
ABOUT US
My team and I are working together to complete this project in order to give the community a resource to utilize when they are anxious, depressed, or just need help finding and regaining their sense of self. We've been collaborating with therapists and professionals to guide our strategy and provide a strong foundation for the adolescent community.
