What is the intensity of your emotions?
Now that you have an idea of what you are feeling, it is important to recognize how intensely you are feeling the emotion. For example, maybe you recognized that you were feeling anger but how intense is the anger? Is it only a little intense? or is it very intense? The lower intensity of anger would be something closer to apathy or irritation while the higher intensity of anger would be something like rage. Recognizing the intensity can help us with knowing what skills we need to use in order to manage our emotions, this will be discussed in the next step.
